We are the local Callahan Florida Lions Club serving Callahan and Nassau County Florida. Lions Clubs International (LCI) is an international secular, non-political service organization established originally in 1916 in Evansville, Indiana by Dr. William Perry Woods. As of April 2015, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries around the world. Headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States, the organization aims to meet the needs of communities on a local and global scale.
Callahan Lions Club is made up of volunteers dedicated to helping in the community and changing lives. We provide free eye exams, free eyeglasses and free hearing aids to those who qualify. We volunteer in the Community when we find a need.
The Callahan Lions Club conducts Turkey (target) Shoots on favorable weather Saturdays nights 6:30-9 PM in the Fall and Winter. Contestants pay $5.00 per round (shot). Two meat prizes awarded each round. The club provides shotgun ammunition. You may bring your own shotgun provided you will allow others to use it, or use another gun. No long guns. Children must be accompanied and supervised by parent and demonstrate the ability to handle and fire safely. Please, No Alcohol. Check this website for Shoot Dates.
